Is he on the Whitehouse payroll?

I'm not going to talk, I'll let somebody else do that for me.

Like this here

and this

I think it's time for an election.

but I like the picture. (Yes, I borrowed the picture from here)

I have yet to see an article that has come out about our Supreme-Leader Harper, that hasn't scared me some how. I think the only way that our buddy Steve would be a "Green" alternative, would involve Elizabeth May owning, and driving something with a Hemi.

green smear

Have you watched the news, oh in say the last year? Since the conservatives have taken office? It seems that every interview or comment that they make, starts with the phrase "the last government did this" or "the last government didn't do this". Okay boys and girls, it's been a year. Get on with it. It was bad enough when the conservatives were the opposition, that all they did was harp on the liberals, and not let the anything useful happen in the house. Now they are in power (all be it just) that they can't seem to stop picking on the liberals. Stephen Dion is only had one day in as the leader of the liberals, and the opposition, and already the conservatives have spent money on a liberal party smear campaign! Last time I looked, that was something that was done during elections, and right now, there isn't an election on. So what is Supreme-leader Harper doing? He sure as hell isn't leading the country. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting the liberals here. I just want the government to move on and stop this school yard he-said-she-said finger pointing crap.

Then there is the poor old NDP and Comrade Layton. Now that the environment has finally become an issue, the liberals and the conservatives are fighting it out to be "green" like two hippies over the last herbal brownie (organic of course) and they have forgotten that it was Jack who brought the recipe in the first place. There is hope that if an election is called soon, that the real Greens may get a seat yet. One can only hope.

So now you wonder: Where does this leave us? Well, let me tell you. I have come across a website that combines two of my favorite hobbies: Bikes and Booze. bikeblender.com Yes, a blender that is connected to a bicycle. So now after that long ride, you can relax with a freshly made Margaretta. All with no adverse environmental effects. I'm sure that this would quickly get the Beaton seal of approval.

Finally, I can have a "green" drink that would not involve creme-de-mint.

Cheers!

Our next vacation

Call the travel agent, book the tickets. The island of Grenada has decided to sell off a national park for a big fancy resort. Ye haw! Who needs those national parks? Why bother? Besides, what is going to bring more people, a stupid park, or a resort with a bar you can swim up to? The birds? The birds have enough space. I'm sure the resort won't charge the birds to come; As long as they don't poop on the guests.

I'm sure there are some very real economic reasons that Grenada is willing to do this. It does frighten me to think that something that is to be protected like a national park can still be bought and sold.

I'm sure this would never happen in Canada....

Not for everyone!

No, I mean it. This site is not for everyone. If you don't want to read bad words used over and over again, don't go to this site. Okay, it's not that bad, but consider yourself warned.

Any how, click here to check out a site that I've just gone to that will tell one and all about the glory of the GMC Hummer line of fine autos.

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. With the new job, things have been somewhat crazy. I'm liking it though. I've got alot to learn about teaching, but I think I'm up to it. I'll try and write more about it soon.
